Project Planning

You can ask anyone who knows me - I have always been the family planner. From process to budget to timeline, I always come prepared. I typically begin the planning process with a lot of research to make sure I understand everything inside and out, and then I can start creating an appropriate timeline (typically with bi-weekly sprints) and budget. My tools of choice include Excel to continuously ensure the team stays on budget, and Asana or Trello to stay on track.

Project Management

Once the planning phase is complete, I delve into management mode. I have intermittently had leadership positions for two of my five and a half years in the workforce, but have also managed multiple projects in between (both personal projects and as a freelance contractor the summers between my college years). My primary goal: to deliver the perfect blend of functionality and aesthetics, ahead of schedule, and under budget.

Visual and Graphic Design

When I'm not organizing and managing projects, my keen eye for detail has allowed me to become a very successful designer. I've had the privilege of creating content for some of the biggest names in various industries, including Samsung, Verifone, and teams/stadiums from the NFL, NBA, and MLB. Though I primarily create graphic designs in Illustrator and Photoshop, I am also experienced with UI/UX design, web design, videography, and animation.

Interdepartmental Collaboration

Regardless of what I'm working on, I thrive when I get to work with others, especially those with different professional backgrounds. I am always trying to learn new things, and am passionate about understanding others to deliver a product that works for everyone. This type of collaboration has also made me an excellent communicator, allowing me to effectively lead some of the most wonderfully diverse teams.

    • About Me

    I am an experienced project manager who typically wears quite a few hats. I have worked in project coordination, graphic design, web design/development, marketing, and virtual reality, but my passion lies in managing projects to bring them to life.

    Working in so many varied fields has made me realize I love constantly learning new things. I have also become an excellent communicator, able to empathize with and understand someone from any professional background. I am a creative thinker - I have a vivid imagination and a keen eye for detail, but I am also very analytical and methodical. In college, I double-majored in computer science with an arts emphasis, and in philosophy with a science emphasis, appeasing both sides of my personality.

    I thrive in collaborative environments, especially when leading a team. Mentoring my team and keeping them organized for success have been my two favorite aspects of the leadership positions I have held had the privilege of holding. I live for the challenge of turning complex problems into beautiful, efficient solutions, and when the project is finished, witnessing it have a positive impact on someone's life.
